Dear Colleague,

We would like to invite you to participate in this School that aims to summarize the developments of 2011 in high energy heavy ion physics, with particular attention to the new data emerging from the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) and the first physics results from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We will also discuss results from J-PARC, in particular neutrino oscillations from the T2K experiment.

We are looking forward to the continuation of this series and hope to welcome our colleagues and friends in Hungary soon.

Contributed talks: Participants are encouraged to present their recent results in brief contributed talks. Please e-mail us your name, institute, the title and a brief abstract of your contribution, if any.

Participation fee: 70 EUR + tax (25000 HUF with tax), it covers the basic organization costs, the coffee breaks and contributes to the other expenses of the school (one participation fee also covers the participation of approximately 2 students).

Students (BSc, MSc, PhD included) are particularly encouraged to attend the school (and their fee will be waived).

Registration: is requested by registrating on this webpage.

Housing:We recommend staying in Hotel Mercure Buda, where we managed a group price of 58 EUR/day for a single room and 68 EUR/day for a double room (including breakfast and all taxes). Please notify us during registration if you would like to use this opportunity. Also note, that for the hotel reservation, we need your reservation 30 days before the conference. Participants however may solve solve their housing in Budapest on their own, links to Budapest hotels are provided here.

Looking forward to a stimulating and fruitful meeting,

M. Csanád
